Step One
Gather different types of fabric, including different colors and textures. Cut the fabric into 1/2” strips. Approximately 4-6 pieces per tassel about 12” - 14” long (edited). You will also want to use t-shirt yarn (video to make that here) for tying the pieces together and you will want to cut that piece slightly longer to accommodate a knot
Step Two
Gather all the pieces together and fold them in half. Tie the t-shirt yarn around the center of the bunch of fabric and feed one end of that piece through the end of the jewelry hook. Once through the hook, bring both ends back to the middle of the bunch and tie a knot to secure it in place.
Step Three
Lastly, hold the pieces together about an inch down from the hook, gather them together and tie them together with another piece of t-shirt yarn. Cut off the excess, trim the bottom of the bunch (if needed) and hook it onto your favorite necklace or strand of beads.
Get creative, make it your own, and most of all: HAVE FUN!!!
